Mind maps are a powerful, colorful way to represent ideas and information and we can add some powerful new capabilities, including:

1. Through mind mapping students can arrange information in bubbles and topic trees. Because of this, we can use it to create sophisticated knowledge models that would be more complicated to display on paper.

2. The documents created by bubbl.us can be stored in Word documents, linked to web pages or sent to individual e-mails, it’s all just a click away.

3. bubbl.us allows us to re-arrange the topic in our map at will, until it perfectly represents our ideas. In contrast, we’d have to have lots of blank pages to show and elicit the ideas from our students.

4. We can update the contents. As our students improve their learning in whatever topics they are studying they can add different trees to their previously stored documents.

5. bubbl.us asks for collaboration. It will always be starting from the teacher but the students will have to jot down their particular opinions.

6. At school, students are asked to write down their bubbles,but when they arrive home they can, online, do their contributions to the document.
